Scot on the Rocks - Brenda Janowitz Free on kindle!
The Call of the Weird: Travels in American Subcultures - Louis Theroux For fans of Louis Theroux and his series Weird Weekends.
Dead Ever After (Sookie Stackhouse, #13) - Charlaine Harris Even though the last few books were not up to par-- they felt like filler, in my opinion-- I had to read Dead Ever After because I've invested so much time in this series and the characters. I wanted to see them to the end. And to be honest, I was holding onto hope that Ms. Charlaine Harris was not going to disappoint.

Well, that's exactly how I feel now after finishing the last book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries. I don't know what else to say except that on one hand I'm glad this series is finally done. The quality has been declining for some time now and it needed to be put out of its misery. But on the other, it's just such a let down with how the series has ended.
Love You Forever - Robert Munsch, Sheila McGraw Um, maybe I should've read the entire book before I bought it. I looked at the first couple pages, skipped to the end and thought this was really sweet to read to my 3 year old.

And though the message is sweet, there is a definite creep factor with the mom driving to her adult son's home in the middle of the night with her ladder atop her car.

As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be. ~
Redesigned - Denise Grover Swank Snagged this for .99 on kindle today!
Origins: The Fire - Debra Driza Nice little teaser
What I Didn't Say - Keary Taylor Free on Kindle !
Unraveling (Unraveling, #1) - Elizabeth Norris 1.99 sale!
Lying Season (Experiment in Terror, #4) - Karina Halle This is my favorite Experiment in Terror book so far. The pacing was great, I loved that Perry was feeling comfortable in her own skin and Dex was opening up to her, though I Hated what she did with the pills. I was just loving it and then at the end Karina Halle rips my heart out of my chest.

And I can't wait for more.
Fight or Flight (Fight or Flight, #1) - Jamie Canosa Kindle freebie
The Benson - Karina Halle The Benson is a quick read that takes place between book two (Red Fox) and Dead Sky Morning. I really enjoyed this story and it would have been great as a full length book, but it worked as a nice short.
The Host - Stephenie Meyer on sale today for 1.99
A Terrible Love - Marata Eros
This was a disappointing read. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the story was at times confusing.

None of the characters were fleshed out, including the narrator Jess Mackey. She wasn't relatable and I had a hard time believing her history/storyline. Devin Castile seemed more caveman than mysterious hero. I didn't think he was hot nor could I see this chemistry between Cas and Jess Mackey. He would say all there was between them was sex, they would hook up (once in a janitor closet), then he wouldn't call or talk to her for days until they would hook up again. All the while she is trying to date Mitch Maverick, convincing herself that he is safe and the safe choice and so much safer than the dangerous Castille (Yes she repeats this multiple times). Mitch doesn't care she's sleeping with Cas, he wants her too!
As for the other characters, none of their interactions with each other felt natural. One of the characters she seemed pretty close to just disappears at one point, never mentioned again.

I had a hard time getting through parts of this book, though it did start to pick up toward the end, and then I was glad to have finished it.

But I did think the cover was lovely.
Great Exploitations (Mischief in Miami, #1) - Nicole Williams 3.5 stars.

I liked this, but I wish there was more.
